I have been doing the oil cleansing method for the past 3 months and love it. Has anyone else tried it? I have noticed smoother skin and my fine lines have decreased (I also do a sugar scrub too).

The combo of oils is suppose to moisturize and cleanse your skin at the same time. I have not use "soap " on my skin for 3 months. I use a combo of caster oil ( cleanser) and Jojoba oil (moisturizer) and a small amount of tea tree oil (antibacterial / preservative). I steam my face and then massage the oil mix on my skin (mini facial) and then take a washcloth with hot (not burning hot) water and let it sit on my face a few times and the. just wipe of what ever is left on my skin (putting the warm washcloth on my skin it helps my skin absorb the oils). No need for moisturizers after, but if I do I use Jojoba oil (3 drops is plenty).

I do OCM it's great. I usually use olive oil, grapeseed, or sometimes coconut oil. I wish I would have known about this method sooner.

I love my Josie Maran Cleansing Oil. It gets every last bit of dirt and makeup off my face, and leaves it soft and supple.

I love it too. I have combo skin (more oily in certain areas) but I played with the ratio of oils I use and found one that works for me. I like mixing my oil (moisturizer) with caster oil. If I feel I am getting shiny (on days I don't wear makeup) I just wipe my face down with some diluted apple cider vinegar (my toner).
I started doing the OCM because I was finding out I was allergic to almost everything on the market (even the products for sensitive skin) , and didn't want to fork over the money for the top shelf product which might not worn either.

My favorite thing about the oil cleansing method is that it will balance out your skin regardless of whether you have an oily or dry complexion.
