I've been pretty much following the curly method by sunkissalba on YouTube and loving the moisture and shape in my curls!

Wow! I thought curls were curls and not "ethnic". Whoever told you that shame on them. I'm a curly gal and I use Camille Rose Naturals (the aloe hair gel that is more of a cream and her hair butter), As I Am Coconut Cowash, and coconut oil. For the past two weeks I've been using these products to do my wash n go look ( in order of application).
As I Am Leave In Conditioner
Camille Rose Hair Butter
Nutiva Coconut Oil to seal the hair and help keep the moisture in.
Some other lines worth looking into are SheaMoisture, Mixed Chicks and EdenWorks (the coconut line smells absolutely delish).

Shelley I have curly hair too and I have wondered if there are different things we should do for different textures of curls. I have been wearing my curls the save way all my life and I really want to know how I can make it better. I have delicate curls that don't want to look nice for long. I'm so ready to throw the towel in. I have always fixed my hair by flipping my hair over still wet scrunching in mousse and spraying hairspray and letting it air dry. That is all I know to do. Ok I an sorry for the rant. If anyone has ideas it is very welcomed.

Yea Raquel I don't use any jest on my hair because it can dry out pretty well on its own. Its expensive carrying for curly hair. I have coconut oil on it right now just to bring it back to life from every day maintenance. Lord have mercy sometimes I just want it straight for a few days to get a break. I'm very hormonal these days and contending with curly hair and hormones is a bitch.

It moisturizes it. I like using organic coconut oil all over my body it's my favorite beauty product.

Coconut oil acts as a great sealant to keep all the moisture in on hair. @Tara G...I feel your pain girl. Before my husband educated me on haircare and chemicals I was about ready to go bald for real. I found this website called Naturally Curly to figure out my hair type to properly care for my curly mane. It took a lot of trial and error but now I'm in love with my hair and I'm glad I didn't go to the barber to shave it off.

Carol's daughters hair milk is great for keeping the frizz away with soft curls.
