Rose water is an amazingggg natural toner!

I love to DIY recently. You can use green tea as a toner, coconut oil for acne (works for me, anyway) and baking soda as a microderm. I've also staring cleansing with oil instead of regular face wash, which you can make with olive oil, caster oil and jojoba oil (Google it or search Pinterest because I'm not sure of the recipe). Oil cleansing is awesome if you have dry skin!

Vanilla Extract+Boiling Water+Dried Basil Leaves=DIY Hair Detangler. (I'll let you know measurements when I can't remember it)
Peppermint Green Tea=DIY toner for oily/acne prone skin
Hydrocortisone Cream= Fast dark spot/acne scar treatment (make sure you're not allergic or even consult a doctor first if needed)
Petroleum Jelly=Great Eye Make-up Remover
1 TBSP Olive Oil heated up in the microwave+Warm Wet Towel wrapped around the head=DIY "hot oil" treatment for hair. Just shampoo and condition as normal to wash out after 15 minutes.
There are so many that I can't even name them all. I hope this thread keeps going. I would love to see what everyone else has to throw into this mix :) I'll add more as well along the way!

@Jacqueline I love this oil cleansing method. I have very oily skin and since I've started oil washing I notice that I don't produce as much oil and I don't have to be limited to just oil free or oil control products anymore. I use a ratio of 30% castor oil and 70% sunflower seed oil.

@Aisha I'll have to try that! Can you recommend a good place to get those oils?

I have found too that my skin is more balanced. Lately I've just been using olive oil; massaging it in and then wiping it off with a wet cloth or rubbing it off with just water and patting dry. It's been working well so far.

@Angel

Yes!!! Petroleum Jelly is wonderful stuff! I use it as a make up remover and a moisturizer.

awesome thank youuuuu allll

Loved this discussion, I also love DIY face/hair masks. My Fav mask for dry dull hair is - applying homemade yogurt on scalp for 30 mins and rinse it off... it brings shine.... and also 1 tablespoon of vinegar mixed in 1 cup of water used after washing hair can make them really shiny !!

Green tea and apple cider vinegar as a toner
Honey with pretty much anything ie. lemon juice, cinnamon, essential oils, yogurt etc. makes a great mask
Baking soda and water to exfoliate or leave to dry as mask to dry out pimples
These are all things people with acne prone skin can do
