These are the products I currently use:
Neutrogena Natural Purifying Pore Scrub (which I love)
Philosophy Purity face wash (also love this stuff)
LUSH fresh face masks (Cupcake, Brazened Honey, BB Seaweed, Catastrophe Cosmetic)
Differin acne cream
Clinique or Philosophy moisturizer
I do love most of these products but I feel like they aren't doing enough for my skin. I'm just looking for some new, possibly better, skin care products to try out. I have very acne prone, oily skin. What products would you recommend?

I currently use Renee Rouleau skincare. She has an awesome blog that is all about skincare on her website. It has made me skin 100x's better in regards to keeping my pores free of the nasties and cleared me of old acne scars. I still use Purity from time to time ( I don't think I can ever give that one up). Since you're using Differin her products would probably further enhance that prescrip by leaps and bounds since her stuff isn't full of junk. She actually has a product line geared just for your skin type. I think it skintype #3. Don't worry....I don't work for her...I just know that her skincare has changed my skin big time and whenever I hear someone willing to try something new I always gotta say something. :)

I have a serious hatred for scrubs ever since I watched a video where Lisa Eldridge completely slated them. I have to say that she has 100% changed my opinion on exfoliation. Here's that video (there are two parts) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYmpcQahvt4
If you're interested in my skincare routine, please have a look at this! This is my 'Too many steps to remember' routine! http://makeupgreed.blogspot.com/2012/02/my-current-skincare-routine.html

Samantha C. I use to hate scrubs myself till I learned that if round beads are used then they are ok as oppossed the apricot scrub which will tear the skin up. Since I started using a scrub my oily/combo skin has cleared up big time plus it doesn't go into overdrive by producing more oil. People make the mistake of using them too often and that's when the skin goes into overtime in oil production. Everyone's skin is different but luckily for me the scrub I use has made a huge difference with my skin. I love your blog. :)

try Mark's oily skin regime. All skin types are difrent, so every one will have a difrent opinion :) But if you dont like the Mark, you can retrun it AFTER youve opened and used it :) I also agree with Shelley W. too much usage of exfoliateing beeds can cause harm. They really arnt ment to be used on a daily baisis. Exfoliateing beeds are soposed to be used like 2 or 3 times a week at the most. So dont over do it thinking it will work best if you go over the recomended usage.

Hi, have you tried a makeup removing mitt? It is basically a piece of microfiber cloth that needs to be made wet only with plain water, no lotions or creams necessary. It removes all makeup and cleanses your skin. It is suitable for all skin types. There is a product called Amazemitt, available in the UK, it is a great little thing. I've been using it for a few months and I love it.

Try Somme Institute 5-Step Regimen. I swear, it has changed my skin. I have acne prone/oily skin too and this has really helped maintain my skin. It is pricey...but its worth it!

Ok any and everyone!!! PLEASE HELP!!! ok so i have more so the combo skin type. after about an hour of having on my foundation its just my tzone that gets oily. the rest of my face is normal. This may be hard to believe but i have a HUGE problem with blemishes(dark spots) but my face is super smooth. I still get breakouts pretty often and i hate to admit but iam a natural born face picker;(
Right now iam using the garnier dark spot corrector for my blemishes Can anyone recommend some top of the line products i can use? i need a good cleanser, toner, and face wash. i typically like anytype of scrubs with glycolic in it to reduce any flare-ups. and now im using the neutrogena oil-free acne wash gentle scrub and whenever i use something new i do breakout a little bit until my skin gets use to it. and thats another thing. My face is VERY ACNE PRONE. Any suggestions??????

Clarifique by L'Bel is great for dark spots! One of my friends used it and it removed her pregnancy rash and cleared up her skin. http://www.lbelusa.com/kmacavoy

I'd suggest trying out Murad products. The cleanser and the exfoliating acne gel are my favorites. Both products do a great job in terms of reducing breakouts. I have combination skin so I find the cleanser to be a little bit drying. But as long as you apply a good moisturizer after using both products, your skin shouldn't feel any irritations.

The Body Shop's Tea Tree line! It dries my skin out because I don't have oily/acne prone skin, but otherwise its very good at controlling oil and breakouts!

@Flo, for moisturizers, I like to use Olay Complete Lotion for the day and Clinique Moisture Surge for the night. Hope you'll find one that works for you!

Try finding an esthetician in your area because when you get a facial you can ask for their expert advice or go to Sephora and ask one of their skin care specialists or even the Origins store. Good luck(:
