You can try those shampoos that are supposed to be for people specifically growing their hair, but in my experience, none of them make any difference. The important thing to do is eat healthy, take vitamins, and stay away from excessive use of hot tools, as long as you use heat protectants. I would recommend using a leave-in conditioner like the one by Infusium 23 which is awesome! For shampoo/condition I would recommend sulfate free ones. Find a natural one, or one with argan. Make sure you use a deep conditioner once a week or so. Personally, I love the Moroccan Argan Oil deep conditioner by Organix. Also, make sure you get a trim every 3 months or so.

Hey Jordan! As a hairstylist I always recommend my clients to take multivitamins your body does its own thing some peoples hair grows faster than others but I noticed taking my multivitamins helped alot. Also getting trims every couple months and stying away from heat (blowdryers, flat iron, curling iron etc.) I love shampoos that are more natural that contain olive oil keeps your hair hydrated and healthy looking.

Hope this helps!!

If you want to grow your hair out, try a Sulfate Free Shampoo, that will cause less damage to your hair. ALSO, Do NOT wash your hair everyday! You can wash it every other day or even up to 2 or 3 days. The reason is because Shampoo is very harsh to your hair! Also getting Micro Trims every 2 to 4 weeks is very helpful. That will take off the split ends and help your hair grow. What people do not know is that when you have a split end, it will travel all the way up the hair shaft, thus causing it to fall out, so getting Micro Trims will help your hair grow fast!

Drink alot of water too, that will help with nail growth and Hair growth. to keep it heathly the best is Vitimin b that your putting in your body. Don't just take pills though make sue you eat right because the way you eat contributes alot. I agree with everyone above : Avoid heat, using shampoo that are good for your hair. Why not try extensions for the time being as you let your hair grow? Thats What I'm doing.. It's grown 4 inches so far.

I had the same problem I use salerm shampoo and conditioner with proteins and vitamins and keratin, professional shampoo that does not miss treat your hair, the John Frieda product are also good, but they also say that it can help if you drink or put in your shampoo (smashed) birth control pills or drink pregnancy vitamins too, they are also vitamins that they sell for hair and nail growth.
