Damn!! I can never seem to get water marble right, my nail polish drys too fast on the water and I can't get it to spread out right. Is there some special trick?

You need a newish nail varnish really so it hasnt had time to thicken and the water temperature is important too. Make sure the water temparature is luke-warm, that might solve your problem alison.
Defo check out cutepolish's video on youtube, she explains it a lot.
Also, practice makes perfect :)
