OK, so first off, I am trying to get back close to my natural color... last summer i bleached my hair, and it was awful. so i dyed it with box dye, and it washed out a week later. then i dyed with a dark brown, hoping i would have the same effect... BUT it went crazy and over processed more color then i wanted, and it's been almost black now :-( i've tried 4 or 5 different times to lighten it, and nothings working.
Now, I'm trying to bleach wash it to lighten it to the point that i can dye it to a nice color again. So, here's my question: Which version of dye does anyone prefer? Wella, Ion, L'Oreal Professional, or Clairol Professional? box dyes and i are not friends anymore :-) so... i'm trying the "professional" version now. ideas please!

I prefer L'Oreal Excellence HiColor for Dark Hair Only. It comes in Blonde, Brown, and Red. I've only used the Red for a few highlights, but I have heard that the Blonde does get pretty light if you're trying to go lighter. If you use this you won't have to damage your hair as much with bleach.
