So my friends and i a going to go do a photo shoot son, and i was just wondering what are some ways to pose, instead doing the same thing over and over again.??

just moving the way your standing or the direction your head is facing can change a photo completely, have fun with it and maybe look at some magazines if your looking for more editorial poses :)

Its kinda hard to suggest poses online, since we can't show you or guide you or even know how the background will be like. But I can advise you to try to just get comfortable. Then the poses will come naturally. You can also work with the things you have around you. Rails. Stairs. Walls etc. If you're lost, the photographer may be able to give you a suggestion or two, but of course he/she can guide you the whole way. If you're really nervous, try searching for pics of similar shoots online to get a few ideas. But you obviously wont be able to remember every pose. Don't sweat it and Just have fun!

Practice in the mirror! Sounds silly, but it's a really great way to kind of find your angle. My favorite is turning my hips so they're away from the camera, but my shoulders are square to it. It helps hide my tummy. Just have fun with it!
