I used to work at Target! Wear slacks and a nice blouse, maybe a cardigan because the office is cold. They want someone dressed professionally, and conservatively. Sedate makeup, clean fingernails, plain but well-groomed. No cleavage, no excessive skin, no loud colors or patterns. Do NOT wear jeans. The hiring managers there said that they always have people that think wearing jeans is okay and it is definitely inappropriate.

Make sure you are able to describe specific scenarios when answering questions. They will ask about customer service, working in a team, dealing with difficulties, that sort of thing. As long as you have a specific situation that you can describe, you'll do fine.
