I have this thing I don't have much of an interest in more natural looking lipsticks like nudes or anything similar. In all, I own like, 2 nude lipsticks. I lean more towards more vibrant colors like red, fushia, coral etc or dark colors like violet. That's just my personal preference though.
So knowing that everyone has different preference in lip color, what's yours? :)

I love bright lip colours to wear going shopping or on a night out , but to school I have to wear nudes. So I think i like brights more but I still like nudes! :)

It really depends on my mood and my eye make-up. A lot of the time I keep my lip colour fairly neutral, but there are days when only a really awesome red lip will do!

I do like both. I have to say I don't own any nude or beige lipsticks but I do plan to get them for layering purposes. I don't necessarily wear purples or other really "out there" colors in lipstick, but I think they look great on other people. I love pretty much any reds or pinks though and coral is SO pretty :) As for my eyes, I love bright colors. Even though I do wear neutrals, I love to put purples and bright greens on. xo

I usually like brighter b/c surprisingly I have trouble with nudes sometimes since.I have very pigmented lips. I have to take extra steps sometimes to get the color to.work for.me

I love nude lips but I also love bright lipsticks lately especially with Spring coming up. But I'll always love nude lips cause I wear smokey eyes all the time so I think it looks better but with a natural eye look I pull for a bright pink or something fun! :)

I used to fear bright colours and would skip lipstick entirely, preferring to go for gloss or tinted lip balms only. But recently, I've found bright fuchsias and reds more appealing. Don't know why. Maybe it only took that one time wearing a bright lip to get me hooked? Or maybe I've just grown sick of the smoky eye and the more eye-centric make up looks?

I usually have the natural shade colors lipsticks, but if I was brave enough and my parents let me I would use lavender lipstick or perhaps a burgundy or bright red. :)

Don't get me wrong, I love natural colors, but I seriously love playing with lipcolor, so I'll have to go with bright! I think a bright lip is such an easy way to play up and pull together even the simplest outfit. Not to mention, they're tons of fun :)
Plus, it's easy for anyone to do (and I think a lot of people can pull it off) and it makes for a fast makeup routine. Often, I'll do a bright color (think a powerful coral, or a nice pop of lilac) do my eyebrows and apply 2 coats of mascara. Done!

Lex R. : I totally get what you're saying! I was in that position myself just a year ago. I purchased my first red lippie and got hooked. And I mean REALLY hooked!
Delisha S. : Looking at your pictures, I have to say I absolutely love your lips! Being a girl with natural thin lips, I really envy you. You should totally give it a go, and reach for it a bit more when you're practicing at home before you're comfortable with going out with it, because I think red lips would look just amazing on you.

It mostly depends on my overall look for that day. I love bright "crazy" makeup, but I typically lean towards nude lips because they balance out my eye makeup and I feel that I can pull them off better. Anyone who successfully pulls off bright lips- I bow to you XD
