hi guys! just have a question...... do you feel as though with the eyebrow trend going crazy that it is a must for them to be filled in because now it seems as though having them done is not enough. at one point in time it was ok just to have your regular eyebrows with out any shading... being that they shape the face what do you think?

I was thinking this just yesterday. I filled my brows for the first time. They almost looked over done to me. Maybe because I'm not use to seeing it.

I have been doing it for about three years now and i really like it because the shade of my eyebrows is like non existent once they hit the arch so they work for me but on other people you can just tell that they over did it. I think its all in how you apply it and what you use to fill them in and use a light hand a little goes a long way! I think anyone can do them it takes practice to make them look natural!

I have a fuller brow, but not very long, and no matter how much I try to add a tail, or give them a nicer shape, they always just look so stupid. lol
I think filled in eyebrows only really look nice on very fair, or overplucked or very fine brows. Otherwise I like them natural.

I don't over pluck/wax my eyebrows, or fill them in like crazy. Though I do like to fill them in real dark sometimes, it makes me feel sexy and edgy, lol... But the main reason that I fill them in daily is because I have a childhood scar on my right eyebrow, and it looks weird if I don't. But I agree, some people take it too far. I just let them do what they do.

Despite having black brows, they can appear pretty spares in photos. I think I start to look drag if I over do my brows. I don't really mess with the inner part as I can't stand block brows. I just extend the tail a wee bit and sharpen the edges. It's very possible to 'do' your brows without having them appear overdone.

There's nothing saying it's a must have though in day to day life. Working at a counter is entirely different though.

I don't think its a must, just depend on your eyebrows if they are thin, or some people naturally have two different shapped eyebrows that look a little different even with being arched and groomed they can't look exactly alike because they were to different to begin with, filling in eyebrows can help with that. Also for things like if one eye brow is naturally longer than the other. Some people have naturally thick eyebrows so filling in for them is not neccessary.. Just really depends on what you want

i really beleive some people over do it.. its like their eyebrows are painted on.. justdark not smudged or anything.. it bothers me like alot.. lol and it also bothered me when i went on my M.A.C interview that the lady wanted me to do the same.. my eyebrows are long.. I dont think its neccesary unless you have barly any or sparse amounts of hair..

My natural eyebrows are less-than-stellar...since I'm a natural blonde I have somewhat light-colored brows, and they're sort of sparse and uneven. I was definitely not blessed in that department, so I like to pencil them just a little bit, to get a defined shape and make them a little stronger-looking, but I ALWAYS go over them with a spoolie to blend and make it a bit more natural looking :)

I know what you mean, though...sometimes it seems like people literally take a paintbrush and that's it. I think a little goes a long way if you're going to fill in your brows.
