How to accentuate facets of eye colour?

Hi Beautylish!
Some days I notice my eyes show up very green, and other days they look almost orange. In reality they are hazel with parts of both colours but something on these particular days makes them look more like one colour. I haven't figured out what it is yet!
So does anyone know what might make my eyes appear more orange or more green? Perhaps the colours I put on or the quality of light I'm you set?

Thanks!

Hazel eyes cam change color by the color of your clothes, makeup, hair and even the lighting. It's so cool. I have hazel.eyes too, with green and yellow/brown.

Complimentary colors will accentuate your eye color so maybe try a purple eyeshadow to make the orange in your eyes stand out. (:

Lighting plays one of the biggest roles. Some days mine are bright blue, most days they are steel blue with hints of gold. Lol. But purple is the best for hazel eyes. Try golds to compliment the greens too!

Thanks everyone! Jacqueline: must be why the brown liner I wore today made them look green?
Thanks for your answers ladies and yes Ashley it's awesome :D

Here's a look I tried today keeping those colour comparisons in mind... What do you ladies think? I've got a bronze smokey eye going with MAC Aquadisiac in the corners with winged liner. I noticed it makes my eyes look greener in person but the orange is not played up quite as much.

They almost look brown in this picture actually. Interesting
