Every time I attempt a new look with eyeshadow it always ends up looking the same or like I'm 4 and I got into mommy's makeup. does anyone have some good tips or know of some easy tutorials?

I think a lot of girls get discouraged when their makeup doesn't look just like the photos or the other girls on YouTube. The important thing to remember is that each of us had totally different features... Eye shapes, skin texture, lip shape and size. So it is so important to experiment with what works on your eye shape. It can be tricky. Don't feel like a failure when it doesn't turn out exactly. Keep practicing and figure out what works best for you. And don't compare your look to someone else's. it's not productive and can leave you feeling unmotivated:)

soo true when I started trying to do my eyeshadow n winged eyeliner like the girls on youtube it never looked right I used to get so frustrated I hated it!! but yes shes right girls remember everybodys eye n face shapes are different...what helped me a lot was I had to find my eyeshape, after I found my eyeshape I looked for girls online that had the same shape n followed them it helped ALOT!!
