I have blue eyes and I never really know what type of eyeshadow looks good. Whenever I use browns, and have it very light, it seems to be overpowering... Help?

Try finding cold colours, if you want a natural look just go for neutrals, a cold brown smokey eye, big lashes and a thin cat eyeliner. If you want something more colorful I'd say purples and pinks.

It'll help to take your skin's undertones into consideration as well. I have porcelain skin with cool pink undertones and even though people always say purple and pink go great with brown eyes, those colors make me look like I either have bad allergies or haven't slept in a week. :-P For blue eyes, I think taupe would work regardless of your undertones, though. And to find other colors, get a palette with a wide range of colors and play around to find out what looks best.

Gold-orange really sets off blue, same with a shimmery light yellow.

Gold or pastel purple :)

Gold, shimmery champagnes/pinks, bronzes, coppers or orangey warm tones really make blue eyes pop because the two colors contrast, as what Jessica B. said.

A blue eye pencil or light blue shadow if done well would look really good to =)
