So I've always had trouble with getting the perfect smokey eyes and the other day I saw a covergirl smokey eye eyeshadow pen sort of thing
It's a two sides pen and one side has silver and the other has a dark grey colour so you just cover the whole eye lid in silver and then do the dark grey in your crease and along your eyelash line
I'm sorry for the really bad explaining but have any of you tried this? It looks really simple and easy to use but I don't want to buy it if its not going to work

Megan it looks like that but it's not exactly the same brand, and Naomi is there anything I can use in place of a primer? I don't like spending to much money on makeup stuff since I don't wear it often.

If you just want a simple duo maybelline do some great ones, a good smokey eye always needs to be blended well. Start with a lighter colour over the lid, and then gradually add the darker colour to the crease with one brush and blend it out with another. Then it is a lot easier to build up to the smokeyness you want :)
