Personally I use a bit of shampoo then line them all up on a towel to dry. Me and my sister always argue over who has to wash the brushes because it takes FOREVER!
What I want to know is what other methods do you use to wash your brushes and how often do you do it?

I use a little baby shampoo and swish it around my hand. I have used the dish soap/olive oil method too

I use the soap that is packaged with some Beautyblender packs, but baby soap is essentially the same thing. Make sure not to get too much water into where the hairs meet the handle, the glue can come loose and there will be major shedding

I clean mine daily with mac brush cleaner and then once a month clean them with warm soapy water until there is no product left in the brush, condition them with hair conditioner , rinse them out till all the conditioner is out , reshape them if I need to and leave them on a clean towel to air dry

For day to day or weekly I use a brush cleaning sprat by sephora just spray on the big brushes and wipe them off on a paper towel then for smaller eye brushes I spray a good amount in the cap and dip the brushes in the solution then wipe off on a paper towel then do shampoo them once a month and it works great.
