you didnt make a mistake, these lip butters are a hit on the blogosphere! just google them and youll see all the great reviews they've got. they're also pretty hard to find, so youve done well :p

They're fantastic! But I didn't really like the light frosty colors... Um, cupcake. I know a lot of people love it, but on my lips, it exaggerated my lines. The darker colors are fantastic though. I have the plum color... Love it! It really has this watery, kind of... Like, I can't describe it, but it's just so gorgeous. But as far as moisturization? Um, not so much... :( So it's kind of like a... Depends on the person really.

Any idea what color would suit my skin? Olive/tan ... Right now I'm using HD MakeUp Forever's lip liner and it's dried out my lips.

I love them! I have two right now and I'm going to get some more. Some of the more pigmented ones are a little drying even though it's a lip butter. So I would suggest still using some kind of chapstick before applying it.

I'm pretty sure you'll love them! I have Tutti Frutti & Cherry Tart which are both bright colors & they're gorgeous! I def want to buy some more!

I am SOOO LATE on the trend, but Lollipop is my absolute FAVORITE! Tutti-Fruitti is a gorgeous shade of bright orange, and I've got a total of 4 right now. I can't wait until I track down Raspberry Pie, and collect the rest! Def. impressed with these. =)

As a whole, I can't judge them. Some are wonderful, some are a bit greasy and some are slightly sticky. They're hit and miss products but if you get a hit, you've got a wonderful new addition to your collection.

They're great. My favorite is Peach Parfait but you have to be careful with some of the colors because not all of them are as pigmented or as moisturizing as other ones.

They're not great for moisturizing, but they are the best pigmented lip balms. I have two different ones and they both have really great color payoff.

I think I have six now...lol I've lost count! They can be a bit drying, but if you apply something on before (chapstick) then the product, its the best thing since sliced bread! Lol

At the walgreens here in Bremerton(a suburb of seattle) we have lots of every color lol... no one buys them... i dont wear lipstick or lipgloss... so i cant see spending 8.00 on it to try... BUT your guys' reviews make me think i should...

i was just talking about them with a friend, and we agree that lip butters are pretty hit or miss in terms of color - some are hardly pigmented (like peach parfait) while others, like berry smoothie for me, can become a regular in your routine. it's annoying that you can't swatch the colors in store, but once you try a couple you're bound to find the right color for your skin tone

i finally got a couple. i wanted the creme brulee because i heard it's a darker nude and that would stand out more on my skin. I bought the Smooth Berrie and the Sweet Tart instead because it was sold out. The smooth berrie looks kind of purplish on my lips so I use the Sweet Tart (which pops) and use the smooth berrie in the middle of my bottom lip.
My only gripe with the lip butters is that they do not last more than 30 minutes or so. You do have to keep reapplying to get the same effect you had when you first applied it less than an hour before. :/

Love them! I have Peach Parfait and Strawberry Shortcake. I love that have color and don't dry out my lips. That's my problem with lipsticks and most lip glosses.
