Hey Beauty Lovers! So it's starting to get sunny out again, and that tends to bring up the topic of tanning. I have crazy pale Irish girl skin, with freckles that come out stronger in the sun. I am currently using a SPF 55 under my makeup, or just by itself when I don't put any makeup on that day. I would like to avoid spray tan/that lotion stuff that dyes your skin and bronzers. Obviously I will end up using bronzer for my make up look, but I'd like a safe effective way to get a more natural base tan first. I will use the lotion stuff if anyone has any good tips on applying at home tanning products. Any advice?

I have the same problem! I use a sunless tanning lotion and apply it allover before I go to bed then shower it off in the morning. It leaves my skin a natural looking bronze which is the color I turn when I am in the sun and its streakless. I either use Toma's tanning lotion or Tanwise which I found at my local Sally's beauty supply. I used to tan outside with my mom who is Sicilian and super olive toned or in the beds. While I can get dark, this is a much safer alternative =] hope this helps!
