Plucking my eyebrows tonight for the first time, anyone have any tips on just plucking in general or how to ease the pain (I already know you wash your face with warm water)?

Remeber less is more and start at the root of the hair follicle. It hurts like hell the 1st couple of times, but you will soon get use to it. Hope that helps!

Shape from the bottom, and don't pluck too much your first time!! If you want them skinny work up to it, don't just pull them out in one night.

Warm water will actually bring the blood closer to the surface of the skin do it may hurt more. I would not recommend doing that.

I would wax it first then after you wax it pluck away the extra hairs that grow. You have to keep it up though. It makes it a lot easier to shape your eyebrows for the first time and in my opinion a lot less painful. Go to a salon it's usually around 15 and if you keep it up you don't have to go back.
