Hi everybody! So I went to the hairdresser 2 days ago and I wanted like a dark brown like Lucy hale, and now my hair is like black.. And I hate it sadly. What could I do? I don't want to damage my hair even more..

Wash it with a shampoo that is not for color treated hair. I used head and shoulders. Scrub scrub scrub and use warm to hot water. This will hopefully take out some of the intensity. There is also a method using vitamin c tablets. I've never personally done this method so I can't say if it'll actually work. But I heard if you crush up vitamin c pills, make it into a paste and put it on your hair, leave on for about and hour then rinse it out. This should strip hair dye. It won't damage your hair so you can do it as much as you need.

It can't be that bad... It will fade a lil. I heard you can lighten hair with lemon juice. You can also add semi/Demi permanent color. They come in all kinds of color to chose from.

Bleach wash. Get some bleaching powder at a beauty supply store, mix it with a shampoo and a bit of water, and use it like you would use a normal shampoo, all over your hair. just leave it in a little longer. And be careful close to your scalp, as the roots get bleached faster.

When you do it like that on recently dyed hair, it will wash away most of the dye, without bleaching your hair.

You should contact your hairdresser and ask what kind of hair color she used. Rarely do they use permanent unless its for grey coverage. If she used a semi or demi permanent then go with Susie's advice and just wash your hair a bunch. Another good shampoo for this is a brand called Prell (green bottle). If you just got it done your hair follicle is still open and susceptible to fading. Bleaching it or trying to lighten it will bring out very brassy tones in dark hair so I'd avoid that. Good luck!

Go back and have her fix it. no self reapecting stylist will let a cliwnt stay unhappy. and as a cosmetologist I must say that the vitamin c and lemob juice 'tricks' might work but they are very VERY bad for your hair! she hould not charge you full price for the correction, maybe just a few dollars for the products so don't pay an arm an a leg again. just make sure to go in quickly an explain to her what youre unhappy with.if she doesn't seem willing to fix it then ask for management. if there is still no sign of help from them ill walk you through a process.
