I think it depends on your skintone or which red.

Absolutely! You just have to pick the red that goes with your undertone. Cool reds for cool undertones (which will have a blue tone) and warm reds for warm undertones (which will have an orange tone)

Thanks! I just bought an ulta red..I forgot the color name..but the number is 202 and it doesn't really work for me and I really tried

Red is classy colour. You need to know how to use it on certain clothes your wearing. Red helps your teeth to look brighter when you smile. Red is just fun , classy and useful.

Agree with Jillian, there is no one-size-fits-all red lipstick, it's all in the matching undertone. :)
