I went to the beach and didnt use sunscreen even when I always do and I got a bad sunburn and its been two weeks and now my skin is peeling horribly and look hideous :/
Is there anything I can do to make my skin color even again!?!
I can't stay away from the sun since I'm a lifeguard

I would let your skin completely heal. I know you are a life guard, I don't know how that works, I mean can you wear a hat for awhile or no? Maybe get sunscreen with a higher SPF.
Right now I have a peeling sunburn too and every morning I just gently massage it in the shower with an exfoliating glove (gently! Because your skin is already sensitive and sore from the sunburn) and then I follow up with a good moisturizer.
Also make sure you drink plenty of water. That may seem obvious and what not but its very important
Good luck! :)

Use a good, strong sunscreen. In order to prevent scarring, be very gentle with peeling your skin off. In fact, do it as little as you can. I once got my upper back sunburned so badly that my skin peeled off twice! As far as I know there is no point in moisturising because the skin is already burned and dead. I think it's best to be patient even though it difficult to do so.

Don't pick it! Let it heal on its own. Use a thick moisturizer (Aquaphor, Eucarin) to keep the new skin being exposed from drying out.
Always use a high SPF sunscreen when you are going outside, and reapply every 90 minutes (or sooner if you are sweating or swimming). I really like Coppertone Sport spray sunscreen because it is effective, inexpensive, and convenient. Spray it on, wait about 15 seconds, and you're done. It is easy to forget to reapply, but try your best to remember. It will save your skin in the long run and could even save your life.

Nicole S. yeah I always have my hat on while working and wear rash guard shirts. I never had that problem while working so I think it was the day I went to the beach cuz I didnt use any sunscreen.
I will be patient lol I will do my best, I got a stronger moisturizer and better sunscreens for both my face and body. Thank you girls :D!
