I've been using LUSH products for the past month and while I feel it serves its purpose in cleansing my face, I don't see it making a difference in my acne and skin tone. I am now venturing out into other well known brand that care for skin and wanted some advice from those of you who have tried the skin care products at Sephora. Hits, misses, and details please :)

Sephora has a ton of skin care products of all sorts of brands. It's a wonderful place to go hunting for a new regimen but first you need to identify what skin type you have and what your individual needs are. after that, you can go to the sephora website and check out the skincare category. what I always do before shopping, to make up my mind about what I need, is browse every skin care category (cleanser, toner, exfoliater, moisturizer, etc) using the best seller feature (there's also a price range feature, alphabetic feature, etc). That way it's easy to pinpoint the most popular from the least popular. popularity obviously generally equals success, so. It's been fool-proof for me!

I had great luck with Juice Beauty for about two years, and then my skin decided it didn't like it anymore. Since then I've also fallen in love with the Korres line; I've used their Rose cream, Quecertin eye & night cream and the primrose eye cream.
That said, skin care is so individual. I'd go in with a list of your concerns and tell the beauty advisor that you're looking to pick up some samples. Ask a lot of questions!
Persistent acne can source from many places and often times it takes a combination of products that work well with your skin PLUS a solid routine. Avoiding things like exfoliating too much, or stripping oily skin (which only causes more sebum production) can make a huge difference too. Also things like keeping your hands off your face, sleeping with your hair tied off your face and changing your pillow cases more frequently can help too.
