I love palettes, although I only carry RCMA, but Ben Nye is an amazing line.. You won't be disappointed..only thing to keep in mind is sometimes you might have to sheer the product a little.

If it's the Ben Nye HD foundation you ordered they recently reformulated it and it's great! If it's the creme foundation that is a product intended for theater and quite heavy, full coverage. Mixing foundations and matching undertones is something that takes a lot of practice and years to perfect. Buy a color wheel at a craft or art supply store to aid you in learning this. You will need color correctors to mix with your foundation to match them to people's skin, so buy these as well but make sure they have the same base as your foundation, I.e. water, silicone, etc.

I have used and loved Ben Nye products in the past, but when I went for a foundation kit, I went in the direction of Cover FX. It came with twelve different foundation shades, a primer, translucent powder, and a brush all for about $175.
