I have a group interview in 2 days, I was obviously going to do my makeup nice and hair but what should I wear? I was thinking black skinny jeans, plain top and black pumps. But also, how do I stand out at a group interview? Help if you can thanks!!

Do your makeup bright and fun. Do your eye makeup really pretty.. or a bright lip if you don't do colorful eyes. and the outfit sounds good and professional. maybe wear a blazer. To stand out? try to make them notice you. don't be shy and speak up so everyone can hear you clearly. be confident and aggressive but not rudely aggressive if that makes sense. Show them you have what it takes and you want the job.

I interviewed for sephora went all the way too the 3rd interview and didn't get it cause they had transfers come in :( but some tips, when they ask you why do you wanna work at sephora don't say cause I love makeup. Sephora is very much about customer service, say I just love whenever I walk into a sephora store the customer service and team work is amazing, & I would love to be a part of a team like this! ;) talk very much about your customer service and how important helping the customer is ;) makeup is a bonus there :) hope that helps.

Each Sephora interviews differently. When I was hired for the flagship store it was a group interview, smaller sephoras will interview individually. Keep your make up natural but with the following-- 3 lip products (ie liner, lipstick, gloss), 3 skin products (primer/foundation/concealer, primer/liquid/powder, etc), 2 cheeks (blush/contour, blush/highlight, highlight/contour) and three eye products (primer/liner/shadow, liner/shadow/mascara, etc). Sephora is all about giving customers an unbiased recommendation so emphasize that. Also, if you haven't read their mission statement -- read it. Let them know you're okay with touching faces. Their other big thing is getting customers to take surveys on their performance. So if you can tell a story that may show you're comfortable telling each customer about the survey, then do it (I talked about signing up people for Macy's credit cards). Also, don't wear jeans, black or not. Make sure they're another material. Simply knowing Sephora's values and mission will help you stand out, good luck.
