I'm looking for a good highlighting under eye concealer. I'm very, very pale, so I need something that will still highlight under my eyes and the Urban Decay concealer pencil in "CIA" seems like it would work, but I don't want to spend $19 if it's not worth it. I've read that Fake Up is comparable, but slightly better. I haven't tried either, and even after reading reviews, I can't quite figure out which one would be best. I've read that CIA comes out almost white, but since I'm so pale, I don't know that that would be much an issue, and I do know that Fake Up doesn't have a great shade range, so the lightest one could still be too dark. Thoughts?

I didnt like fake up at all, the consistency was way too oily/slick. And then I also felt it didnt show up as anything. I didnt see any difference when using it.
I never tried urban decay concealer pencils but I think anythig would be better than fake up in my opinion

Didnt like either. I just bought nars creamy concealer for this exact reason and I love it. There shade range is really good.

Victoria, why didn't you like the Urban Decay concealer?

Too dry, didnt blend evenly and also faded throughout the day. Fake up looked good on me for the first 2 hrs but after that it also disappeared.

I've used the UD concealer, it works but it's rather thick. I found that putting it on the back of my hand and allowing it to warm prior to application was the best method.

Mac pro long is good consistency. Not too dry and not too oily! Check it out. I didn't like fake up either.

Fake up is for dry skin. If you want a long lasting concealer go with the booing from benefit or the erase paste. Booing is heavy duty but mattifying and the erase paste is more brightening and still very awesome
