Without trying to sound up myself, I quite like this selfie. I took it in front of a window, which I found showed that my skin was extremely clear, and made me look like I was wearing foundation (I wasn't!), plus it brought out my eyes and the makeup I was wearing. I took this holding it just slightly above, so I didn't get an unwanted double chin and unflattering shadows.

I find my pictures always come out better when I take them upside down (: then flip them afterwords, doing this just makes a different angle and I find it comes out better, always take then infront of windows, natural light makes good pics (:

Pretty much what everyone said. Not even just windows just play around with good lighting. (My selfie was taken outside) and just play around with the angle in which you view yourself so you can find a "good side" and be confident.
