So I'm basically still new to make up (kinda) haha I just can't figure out the goods and what to use!
What are the best drugstore/ulta makeup products (everything) to own?
And also what are some high end must haves?
What brushes should I get and what are they for?
Sorry so many questions I just wanna get all the info down and go on a makeup spree.
Thank you!!
✌😘

I would say a must have is a blending brush!! Sigma makes some great ones as well as MAC. :)

You really have to try what will be best for your skin type, but I will share some of my faves with you! I am Canadian so these would be from my local Shoppers drugmart or Walmart.
Maybelline fit me foundation
Loreal true match super blendable concealer crayon
Covergirl & almay eyeshadows, specific for your eye colour
Maybelline falsies double ended mascara
Real techniques brushes (come with directions for use)
Almay color correcting primer (green and purple in clear pump)
Maybelline bouncy blush in a soft coral or light pink
A good loose setting powder (so many available)
I hope this helps!! :)

If you're just getting your feet wet definitely start out small and do your research. I don't believe that all designer brand cosmetics are better than drugstore so definitely try products from both. if I've become interested in a product I always try to find a dupe (I'm broke and frugal lol) but sometimes nothing compares to the real deal :) makeup can become a very expensive habit if you don't take the time to treat it like an investment. happy shopping!

Currently loving the real techniques brushes, I have the eye collection and the core collection both are pretty good and soft. The brush sets are cheaper than buying them individualy
My fav high end makeup is the YSL lipsticks 😍

Awesome drugstore:

- e.l.f. Eyelid Primer
- e.l.f. Mist & Set
- Maybelline Volum' Express mascara

I mostly use a flat shadow brush, a domed blending brush, an angle liner brush, and a bias liner brush. I also use a fluffy face brush. I don't use any other brushes, but I'm sure others will weigh in with suggestions for face brushes.
