aw man! I did a smokey eye a few months ago, but never made a tutorial :(
It's very simple though, I just primed my whole eye, used NYX JEP in black bean only on the llid area & then patted black shadow on top of that. After I just used a really light brown (MAC Kid) Shadow to blend up & out. I added glitter, cause I love glitter. I know this isn't exactly what you wanted, but I hope it gives you an idea.
