I think a good conditioner and a good leave-in condition is a good place to start. I would go for a salon brand leavin-in condition because it will work more than regular. However I am never against drugstore brands you just have to research which one works for you. You will get noticeable results right away if you you use a leave-in conditioner.

Keep your hair hydrated by drinking plenty of water and using moisturizing conditioners. Eat plenty almonds, fish (salmon especially) and dark green vegetables like spinach.
