I know what you're all thinking; why would I want to look older?! I just hate the fact that everybody seems to think I'm 8 years old. I'm a high schooler, not a second grader. I only really wear mascara. Please don't just say "enjoy your youthful years, stay looking young, don't try and grow up too fast, etc."

I'm not, I'd just like to look my age. 😋

Try wearing some eyeliner...it really adds years to my face, I look about 8 too (not helped by my chubby cheeks!)
D: anyway, eyeliner really does make me look older, maybe it will with you too? Hope this helps x

1)conture your face :) it helps bring deph in your face

I think that darks mixed with nudes make the face look much older. Try dark eyes with nude lips, or light eyes with dark lips. Don't mix dark with dark as you might end up looking like a clown or 'too much' and don't mix nudes with nudes as it doesn't seem to be the look you're going for. Don't forget to emphasise your cheekbones. Find a hairstyle that makes you look older- curls make me look older, whereas straight hair makes me look very young. I know how you feel, I'm 18 and have often had people mistake me for being 14! What I like to do is make the most of how young I look, play up my 'cuteness.' :) x

Contouring, filling in your brows and wearing eyeliner (usually black or brown) definitely help :)

I always love the winged eyeliner with a smokey eye and a red or nude lip, I get tons of compliments and look my age.
