How do you guys clean your foundation brushes? I've cleaned mine with soap and water as the directions have said but the brush still has product, is a bit oily from the foundation, the brush is dry but it moves like its wet when I use it? and the hairs stick together; it's not soft anymore. Tips?

You have to do it a few times to get all the product out. when the water runs clean the brush will be clean. I just Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo.

Baby shampoo! It's gentle enough for your bristles and cleans really well!

Shampoo and laundry deterdent helps :) I sometimes dissolve a small bit of baking soda on my extremely caked brushes (foundation mostly) and then keep swirling the brush on the back of my hands under lukewarm water until my brush runs clean

Baby shampoo doesn't disinfect the brushes so I use antibacterial dish soap and extra virgin olive oil

Dish soap and olive oil. Rub each brush around in the solution on a plate and then rinse it off. The olive oil keeps them soft, if you don't use it they will become a little rough.
