Amber I did it once and pretty much used a thin detail brush with the gold glitter polish and drew the semi circle then filled it in.. It's a lot easier than it looks

I think in the first picture that they painted the gold first then let it dry. Then took thin tape and sectioned it off and then painted it pink.
