I'm an "aspiring mua" and I had my first severely dry client the other day and my lotion was just not doing the trick. ( I use Clean and Clear Morning Glow & Clean and Clear Dual Moisturizer) What do y'all use on your clients? Do you have any tips and tricks? Thank you!

Use a natural body butter, like shea or cocoa butter. If you're using it on the face give it a few minutes to sink in. Shea butter has antibacterial properties so you rarely get breakouts.. Olive oil always works wonders and because it's natural it's very good for the skin.

I don't know about clients but I make my own facial cream. I whip up coconut oil and it'll turn into a cream. I also add a drop of vitamin E and tea tree oil.

But be careful because oils are used to remove make up.. I don't use olive oil as a moisturizer as it'll make make up slide right off.

The oil will actually, like kitty said, react with the make up. I'd use a thicker lotion like a Shea l/ cocoa butter. If you want to invest in a bottle of shiseido benefiance it's made to luminize and brighten dry skin under make up. a little goes a long way. clean and clear is a brand that tends to focus on oily/acne prone skin so their products may dry your client out

Clean and clear dual moisturizer is for acne treatment right? That would be bad for her.
