I'm getting my hair died next weekend. To hide my roots and grow my natural hair out (I'm dying it my natural color so that I can grow out my natural color). But question is, which way is less damaging and inexpensive? Getting it semi-permanent died every month to two (whenever I get roots), or should I get my hair permanently died?

Also I'm going darker, so there will be no bleaching.
