I'm new to bronzing so I was wondering if there are any helpful tips out there to start me off. also, can you still use blush after bronzing or is or is it one or the other? thanks!

I personally wouldn't because it tends to make you look red. Naturally when you are tan you don't really "blush" however If you want a light dusting on your cheeks won't hurt.

If you want a sun kissed look, use a light hand and dust where the sun would naturally hit your face. If you want to sculpt your face, use a matte bronzer in the hollows of your cheeks and the sides of your nose. If you want to wear blush and bronzer apply bronzer first and then hold two fingers next to your nose and lightly dust blush up toward your ear. Keeping that distance from your nose avoids the colors overwhelming your whole face.

I wear both bronzer and blusher and it looks fine. The key is to use a light hand. I have been using my large powder brush for bronzer lately and it has become a fool proof routine. I dust it in the the shape from the top of my forehead down to my jaw line and a bit down my neck. Also, like Maisa said, keep your blush on the apples of your cheeks towards your temples.

I personally use both and it looks good but its really up to you, also you have to be careful on the brush you use because if you use to much of a big brush it defeats the purpose of countering and you get it all over your face, I use the #17 brush by sonia kashuk only found in target an it works perfectly for me it looks like this

If you want really really light coverage ya but its not the same I haven't tried it but I use a stippling brush when I want light coverage on foundation and its great but for bronzer I don't think it would do as well but this brush is great and its so soft and gentle not only on your skin but on your product to it reduces fall out since its so gentle I highly recommended it, if you feel this one is to expensive in the same brand she has cheaper ones and they are also good
