I was at a Mac counter the other day and tried out a foundation that seemed to match my skin really well, Studio Fix Fluid in NC10. When the girl helping me said it wasn't as full coverage as Studio Sculpt (I think the name is, I'm not by my tube to check), I decided to put it down and go for the Sculpt instead. Apparently, the Sculpt only goes down to NC15. It looked fine at first. A little dark, but nothing major. By the end of the day, it had oxidized pretty badly on my skin. It wasn't super orange, but it wasn't definitely noticeable. I'm thinking of going back and trying out the Studio Fix Fluid and just building it up using some concealer and powder as well, but for all my pale girls- does this one oxidize as well? I'm going to get the 10 rather than the 15 (the girl working didn't tell me that there was no 10 in Sculpt and just sold it to me anyway; it was probably my fault for not checking), but I don't want it to oxidize like the other one- Thoughts?

I think the lightest shade is NC15 in Studio Sculpt. Why don't you try Pro Longwear foundation? It doesn't oxidize and has great range of colors.

The studio fix fluid has very good coverage, it doesn't oxidise as much as studio which I think makes me look orange by the end of the day. Could I also reccomend you try flower perfection foundation by Bourjois, they make foundation for paler skintones and flower perfection is there fullest coverage one.

Agree 100% with jacqueline. Almost all foundations used to oxidize on me really bad until I found a great skin care routine which not only stopped the oxidation but also helped clear my skin so I no longer need full coverage. Since studio fix liquid is for oilier skin it might work better, especially since it comes in the right color for your skin.

Tell them you want a yellow tone foundation. No matter how much they try to talk you out of it, try it! I used to use Mac but switched to Estée Lauder double wear! I've tried lots of foundations Mac nars smashbox Laura mercier almost all of them and found Estée Lauder to look and last the longest!
