hi everyone! I'm looking for a perfect drugstore foundation, if everyone could tell me their favorite ones & why theyre their favorites, that would help! I've bought so many different foundations & haven't found a perfect one that I love yet! I'm sick of spending $14 on stuff I don't even use!
thanks xx

Revlon Colorstay! It has great coverage and lasts all day long. Like you I used to try and spent so much money on foundations that I don't like but then I found my HG :)

I think reckon color stay is great but I would have to say my fav is their new 24 hr whipped one. It's lighter but has a good buildable coverage :)

I think the revlon colorstay and Maybelline super stay are the best because they are similar in formulation. They last all day, but I like that revlon color stay has a formulation for oily skin

I agree... Revlon ColorStay. It's my HG!!!
I've tried the Maybelline Super Stay, I don't think I even finished the bottle before switching back to ColorStay.
The coverage is so awesome, it covers my acne, acne scars, etc. I don't need any extra concealer, etc. I've tried MAC, MUFE, some indie brands, Mineral brands, etc. etc. Revlon ColorStay is #1 on my list.

I notice a lot of people are saying to go with Revlon Colorstay which is what I used to use but I will warn you that for daytime, I found it to be a bit shiny/sparkly so I'd end up having to buy a pressed powder to help with that, and then a highlighter to make my skin look dewey again. Even though it's double the price, I'd say go with BareMinerals! It will save you money on all of the added stuff you'd need to achieve the same kind of coverage but that also keeps the well-being of your skin in mind as far as acne and your pores are concerned. I've had the same BareMinerals foundation for over 6 months and I find that when I use drugstore liquid, I'm going back every 2-3 months depending on how often I'm going out. It's a tough decision to bite the bullet and spend the extra money in the beginning but it's well worth it!

for drugstore foundations, ive found that revlon is definitely the best. i like them both, but i like the whipped colorstay way more than the liquid one. other than that, i agree with kate b! bare minerals is amazing. it gives you such great coverage, just as much as colorstay. and it is a bit more money, but as she said, it will last you so much longer! and it is so good for your skin.
