I neither apply heat nor is my hair ever color or chemically treated. But my hair has been falling from the roots in a huge quantity everyday.
I've tried all sorts of oils and expensive shampoos but no help. :(
Any suggestions?

What is your diet like? My co-worker had the same problem, then she cut gluten and most meats out of her diet and it helped a lot. Her hair is really thin now, but it's stopped falling out in crazy quanities. She uses a shampoo with cinnamon to stimulate hair growth (I don't know how well that works though, but her hair looks nice and healthy :P) if this hair fall out is a recent thing, I've heard hormones can cause major hair fall out as well.

I eat a pretty balanced diet. And I also got a blood test done to rule out the hormone problem. That's why I'm so confused. But thanks a lot! Ill try the cinnamon shampoo. :)

I have the same problemo. No luck with the doctors. They tell me I'm fine.

Me too! The doctor did a few tests and said it could be because of stress. But I'm not stressed at all.

Try vitamins, my hairs been falling out also. Biotin helps it grow along with your nails.

Unless it is coming out in chunks or thinning to the point that you have lost almost half your hair there probably isn't a problem. You naturally lose hair every day. It is falling out so that the hair growth cycle can start over and new hair can grow in it's place.

Are you getting enough iron in your diet?
Sep 21, 2013
Neha M.
I am taking an iron supplement. I think I will start biotin too. This was the first question I ever posted and all of you beauties have been so helpful! Thank you so so much! ^.^

First of all it is a natural process, and cause now is fall more hair will fall... also if you have long hair it could be just an ilussion. just don't wash you hair everyday, brush it carefuly, use masks, balms... one a week aplie a warm oil on hair and leave for 1-2hrs)
