Anyway, I know during the fall winter a lot of people switch to foundation, but is there really any benefit in doing so?
I'm asking because my skin isn't bad at all and when I used foundation it's normally just to give my skin a more finished look. I just got a tinted moisturizer and I like the type of coverage I want and it's light feeling. So am I ok with keeping it or should I go ahead and use my foundation anyway?

People usually switch because their skin gets dry in winter. The benefit is coverage that lasts longer and stays better. If what your using works, feel free to keep using it. I would switch only if you notice your coverage not lasting in the colder months. But if it works, stick with it! You have beautiful skin!

To be honest you realy don't need foundation or bb cream a little concealer and powder will do you fine there isn't much of a benefit from switching people like to just let thier skin breathe

Thanks ladies!
I worry about using powder because I have dry skin so I dunno how well that would work out. But I'll give it a shot!

I think people really just switch to BB creams in the summer because its very hot and foundation usually just melts right off, where as a BB cream is lighter and doesn't do that as much. So I don't think that it's a matter of them switching for winter specifically, its more so them just going back to their usual routine. Does that make sense? lol. But use what's good for you. If you like BB cream and tinted moisturizer and it gives you the coverage you like there's no need to stop using it. Or you could use a powder as others have suggested. Bottom line is you should just use what's good for you personally!
