Try a full coverage foundation, that way you won't need to wear too much. And use a moisturizer or primer before applying your foundation

Take some concealer on the back of your hand (pea size) and mix it with your favorite moisturizer. It creates great coverage and you can't even tell you are wearing makeup. Check out gossmakeupartist on YouTube, he can show you how to do this!

Always brush on your foundation in even, downward strokes. This is because you have little hairs on your face, and they grow downward. Brushing your foundation on upward can make those hairs stand out and make your face look cakey. Also make sure to prime and moisturize your face before you apply foundation, applying foundation over dry skin can make it look uneven and cakey as well. Apply concealer after foundation! Most of us apply concealer before and end up putting on too much because we conceal what foundation could. Lastly, use a stippling brush! The ensure the most "airbrushed" looks and you won't use as much product as you usually would! Hope this helps.

Use a primer! Also blend very well, beauty blenders work great.

Use a beauty blender or a beauty blender dupe. I have the dupe and it works just as well as the original $20 blender. (Dupe is only $4!) The reason they work so well is because they press the product into your skin to create a more natural look. You can find dupes at target, Ulta or Walmart.
