Soooo I need some help with coming up with makeup for these outfits. I'm doing a mix of cosplay and Lolita (a fashion style) for a convention I'm going to in August.

For the first one (white) the character is really fabulous, no other way to put it. I'll be wearing a purple wig and dark blue contacts but I'm thinking either light blue eyeshadow or purple eyeshadow, or something something along those lines.

With the next two I have no idea, the goal is to be sweet looking though I'll be wearing circle lenses for these two outfits so its going to make me look more 'innocent' per say, just not sure about the makeup. For the first one (pink) I'm thinking a light dusting of pink eyeshadow, blush, and the Next Fad lipgloss my MAC. But the next one? No idea. Just no lipstick.

But suggestions would be appreciated!

You could do gold eyeshadow with them or you could do purple and silver :)

If youre doing lolita, simple makeup with soft pinks and pastels would be good :)

Not to sure I can even do that look for the red dress. But I do like it.

@Bobbi - I'm going to an anime convention in Baltimore.

Hey Erin!

I remember doing the same thing for this SacCon (a convention in California) and I had bought a full piece from BTSSB & clobbaonline.

My clobba "piece" looked more like the cream one, and what I did was start with a clean, matte face. I did not use a powder, I used MAC's matte cream with a 187brush after applying my foundation.

Then I used a darker matte eyeshadow to contour my nose.
For my eyes I used GEO Big Grang Grang circle lenses. I then took Moonstruck (a nice cream colour, perfect for dark skin) from Lancome's MAQUIRICHE eyeshadow duo and set it underneath my eyes. I didn't put enough for it to be NOTICEABLE, but just enough so my eyes sparkled and looked a little more dolly. Then I took MAC's fluidline in BLACKTRACK and made a thick wing on my eyes. On my lower lash line, I made a soft, thin black line right underneath the cream shadow. You can make it thicker to make your eyes really pop!

I used the Naked pallette with a coppery shadow to make this nude, copper soft look to my eyes. I LOATHE using fake eyelashes, so I just layered my 5 TOP mascaras together. It really did a good job.

For the cheeks, I used a cream peach-coral colour. I really recommend cream just because I think it looks better, and for some reason I can always tell the difference from when I'm using cream and powder :c

For my lips I used MAC's Freckletone lipstick with a dab of crosswires in the middle.

Hope this helps ^_^!

Also, do lots of mascara on your lower lash line. Sometimes when I put apply it on my lower lash line, the applicator will scratch a little mascara underneath your lashes, and it makes your eyes look a little more sultry, haha!

Also, a nice nude lipgloss wouldnt hurt.

Thank you so much! <3 Do you have a picture of your look? If not that's fine, just wanted to see what it looked like completed.
