Well.. I just read a comment made by Ashley that said her eye doctor told her they diminish peripheral vision.

Bummer, I was just thinking about trying some too. But I definitely don't want to risk anything.

I suggest you go to an eye clinic and get consultation. its not harmful as long as you take care and good quality lenses.

How could they damage your eyes? I tried them years ago and they just look too fake for me. I have large pupils so the colored part could cover them at times which wasn't great.

I used to wear freshlook color blends and I got them from my eye doctor they did a lot of damage to my eyes I ended up not being able to weat contacts for a year. I don't recommend them they also looked horribly fake on me if I blinked a lot of the times they would move and the pupil part always looked creepy lol don't do it you're pretty as you are.

I used to have colored contacts and found them to be really irritating on my eyes. I could feel them on my eyes and they got super itchy. Plus when your eyes get tired, the contacts shift and all you see is the color. I wouldn't recommend them.

My eye doctor doesn't even sell them in his office and he actually has it on list of "no-no's" in regards to maintaining healthy eyes (a sign that hangs in his waiting area).

Contacts should not be "damaging" unless they're properly cared for. Any foreign object going into the eyes can be damaging if they are unclean and can cause infection. I tried the colored ones when I was younger and they were annoying. The colored "iris" part would move over my pupil at times so I'd see the color...weird.
