I really need some new powder, I'm trying to reduce the amount of liquid coverage I wear because I find my pores get clogged quite easily! I'd like to start wearing just concealer and a mineral powder, can anyone recommend a nice affordable powder? Thanks in advance girls!

Maybelline mineral power powder is great as an alternative to bare minerals (which I love as well!) it's drugstore, so obviously its more affordable than BM.
I like it and if you use a different brush then the coverage is even better. I use a kabuki from mac but I've heard the real techniques buffing brush is great for mineral foundations.

Bare Minerals I'd or if you wamt a 100% mineral powder that's backed but the skincare and skin cancer research foundation go for Jane Iredale. It is a little pricey though but has a high spf and nourishes your skin sobyou don't het as many spots :)

*not backed meant to say good
also although they're pricey they last you a long time and I don't wear anything else now

Thanks megan I can't find bare minerals anywhere but they stock maybelline at priceline so at least I can try it there :) and pheobe, I've never heard of jane iredale! but it soudns like exactly what I've been looking for lol, something that provides enough coverage and protection but lets skin breathe :)
