The only legit primer I've used was from ELF. I felt like it was more packaging then product. 2 random things that I've seen used as a primer but actually works is Monistat Chafing Gel. It has the same main ingredients as the expensive silicone based primers. & Milk Of Magnesia. MOM keeps your face matte all day.

I've tried Laura Merciers Oil free primer and I liked it
however if you have some pores I recommend benefits primer.
you can get both at sephora. and if you want to try them just ask them for a sample and they will give you one (:
