Just depends on how sensitive your skin is and its usually better to put a higher spf on your face than the rest of your body.

Yes, the oil will most likely cause your pores to become clogged. Also, I don't want to be the preacher of sun safety, but if I were you I wouldn't try tanning your face like that! I'd definitely wear sunscreen and use a faux self-tanner :)
