Keratin Treatment Anyone?

Has anyone here ever had a keratin treatment done? I've been looking into getting one, but still unsure about it. I know that it basically hydrates the hair, for about 2 months, and makes it smooth, soft, shiny, etc. and gets rid of frizz. but does it damage your hair at all? how much does a service usually cost? please let me know, thank you x

I've seriously looked into it before but stopped because of the cancer causing formaldehyde in it and the outrageous price the price depends on your hair length and salon usually around $300 if I remember and it is good for your hair and makes it really soft I heard.

I've gotten it done before. I don't think it damages your hair, I didn't see anything wrong happen to mine. Although the process is really long. When I got it done it was about $150 dollars but that's with a discount because my aunt is a hair stylist and she did my hair. I really liked it though my hair was much easier to straighten and it barely got tangled.

My friends mom does it and they say ita great. but my friend stoppes because if your hair is naturally curly, you loose your curl pattern along with the frizz. you need to wait for it to grow and to cut it to regain that natural hair you had.
