If I'm using mederma on acne scars on my face for about a week and my skin is starting to peel and flake off does that mean its working?

Hi(: I've been useing it for the same reason and nooo its never supposed to make your skin Peel or flake off, but what I have notice when useing this product is tht as it drys it becomes shiny on the skin and will Peel off the prouduct itself if you apply too much,but never the skin, maybe thts what your referring to? try applying just a thin layer.
