I love my contacts! Being a hairdresser, glasses just don't work with that much hairspray in the air! No splotches from rain. Depending on your eyes, they may not be that expensive! I have an astigmatism so the kind I have do cost quite a bit, but I know the kind my mom wears are about half price from what I pay for a box.

1 - You can wear whatever eye makeup you want!
2 - It's way more convenient, especially if you play a sport or exercise on a regular basis.
It's weird putting them in at first, but it becomes easier the more times you do it. I had to book a special session with my optometrist where she showed me all of the How-Tos and Dos and Don'ts.
I only really wear my contacts for my dance classes, so I buy the 'daily contacts' where you get thirty in a pack, and throw each pair away after one use. If you're going to be wearing it all day everyday, buy the monthly contacts. You get a pair that you can use for 30 days. You have to store it in a solution once you take them out. Unlike the daily ones, you have to throw them away after 30 days even if you did not use them that much.

I use the acuve oasis day and night kind that last a month, so I put them in and sleep with them and everything then after a month I take them out and put in a new pair, it's the best thing ever! Especially that you can wear any sunglasses you want! :)

The only positive I find in contacts is with going to shows, and most of the time I don't even wear them then. I go to a lot of shows (ones that get crazy) and I almost lost my glasses the other night (caught them as they flew off my face luckily), and my ex lost a pair at a show. But I hate contacts enough that I rarely use them, even for shows, I just try to be careful.
