I have a lip ring and I want to wear lip stick. What should I use to prevent smearing?

Well lip liner is said to be effective and maybe some cover up around the edges to prevent feathering?

When I had my lips pierced the ring don't actually move around that much unless I played with it. Take the ring out, apply lippy, pop it back in and then LEAVE IT ALONE. It shouldn't smear or smudge unless you move it a lot :$

You could put a stud in.

I had my lip pierced a few years ago and now I just have a labret stud but it didn't affect my lipstick too much as long as I didn't play with it too much lol.

My vertical labret doesn't really effect the lipstick. Lip brushes help with applying if you don't want to take your ring out, but during the day, there's nothing really that can stop your ring from moving around. I would suggest changing it to a stud if you're having too much trouble with the ring.

I never have had issues with mine, the only problem I ever had was I would have trouble putting the ring back in after applying, but I have finally mastered applying lipstick with the ring in. Like said before, if you don't play with it a lot you should be fine. Also a good lipstick does wonders (ring or not) and can set with powder.
